Q: Do I need to be fit to start and understand how to use gym equipment?
Not at all! Training is designed to meet you where you are and to help carry you forward with confidence.
Q: What is onboarding like?
We'll go through your goals, experience and injuries and together design a program that is realistic and tailored to you. This could be fully online with form and progress checks or more intensive with weekly 1-on-1 training sessions.
Q: How often should I train?
Most clients train 2-3 times per week by themselves, though this all depends on your goals, availability and recovery.
Q: How long before I see results?
You should start noticing results within 6 weeks if you are sticking to the program, tracking what you eat and putting in effort!
Q: Do you adjust programs over time?
Absolutley! To avoid plateauing I will regularyl check-in with you to how you are handling the exercise volume and check whether your form, tempo or intensity could be adjusted.
Q: Do you offer nutritional advice?
Yes! As a qualified personal trainer, not dietician, I am able to observe your lifestyle habits and body type to offer advice on how much you should be eating in terms of carbs, fats and proteins and also offer techniques on how to avoid overeating and eat efficiently in Tokyo's hectic daily grind.
Q: What if I'm busy or inconsistent?
I try to be as flexible as possible to match your schedule and needs. If you are unable to commit to the program for an unforeseen extended period of time, we can look at strategies to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle in the meantime and build from that when you are back!
Q: Will you push me really hard?
In order to see progress, there should always be a challenging aspect and a barrier to push through, though this will never be at the expense of safety or enjoyment. It can be less strenuous If healthy living and positive lifestyle adaptions are what you would prefer.
Q: Where do sessions take place?
In order to be as flexible as possible, sessions can range from being remote, at your place, at your gym (guest pass), a rental space for maximum potential, or completely online.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
There are always unavoidable circumstances that pop-up, however a 24 hour notice would be nice for any training session cancelations.
